Caribbean Travel and Life is core marketing. The beauty of core marketing is that it costs less and produces more per dollar invested. Increased returns on your marketing programs is especially important when things are diffcult and markets are not expanding.

Especially when times are hard, the core markets still go to the Caribbean. And nobody ever bought a magazine off the newsstand about Caribbean Travel unless they were planning a Caribbean vacation.

I was doing some research recently trying to define who Caribbean Travel and Life reader actually is...

84% are traveling to the Caribbean in the next 12 months. Average spending on their last trip was $4,338.

On a recent web poll our 81% of our readers said that their Caribbean travel plans would be unaffected by current economic troubles

On recent web poll 74% said they would be unaffected by reductions in flights and nearly 30% said they would go even if they had to swim

After the 9/11 tragedy 82% said they will have to pry the umbrella drink from my cold dead hands before I’d change my plans… This is who our reader is!!!!

Especially in these times, it’s important to remember that nobody ever bought a Caribbean Travel magazine unless they are traveling to the Caribbean. Smart travel marketeer’s fish where the fish are…
